I was travelling on business so I sat at the bar by myself - not at all a bad choice! The kitchen is so interesting to watch, Michelle at the bar was very sweet and nice to talk to, and the food was amazing. I ended up going back again! My favorites were the poutine with foie gras, french onion soup, duck in a can, and pudding chomeur. Very flavorful! Plus they make a great cosmopolitan.

Duck in a can!!!!. This place was visited by Anthony Bourdain on one of his No Reservations episodes. The service was really good, the beer a nice beginning, but the main thing people come here is for the Duck in a Can (Canard en Reserve) with foie gras. If you're looking to be gluttonous and experience something truly unique, come here and get this. You won't be dissapointed

I had the third best meal of my life here. You will not be disappointed with any choice you make. The other thing that made this place for me was the staff. They were extremely helpful with picking a wine for dinner and were just generallly pleasant to my wife and I. I can't recommend this place enough!

R-i-d-i-c-u-l-o-u-s food, i.e. foie gras poutine, duck in a can, etc. Be sure not to miss Au Pied de Cochon's sugar shack if you are in town during the spring... Lobster and maple syrup... yes please! Check out APC's website for more info on the sugar shack... bookings by email only.

If you are a fan of Anthony Bourdain show or taste, this is a place to be. The foie de gras was amazing. Check out his video clip and see for yourself. If you are up for a heavy yet delicious meal come here.
This is a casual place but famous after Anthony Bourdain came here. The steak and foie gras is just deliciously tastey. Be prepared to have a food comatose here.

First advice off the bat: make reservations well ahead of time! We had a hard time finding a table and we re-arranged schedules to make it work.
Secondly, every effort put into getting a table is WORTH IT!. It's very non-descript - not having any sign on Duluth, it needs no advertising to fill its seats.
This place specializes in Foie Gras, and many dishes feature it. Each one was served to Anthony Bourdain in No Reservations. Popular selections include the Foie Gras poutine and the Duck in a Can, which I had. One of my travel companions had deep fried foie gras cubes. Our table also ordered a seafood platter which we picked at for 45 minutes - yes, big appetizer.
As long as you have a flexible schedule, make sure one of your stops is here.
