Check-in and immigration were smooth and easy during our visit but this little airport is pretty basic so avoid spending too much time here. Most food options are before immigration.
If you are hungry, grab something in the food court. Once you pass immigration, you are limited to a Subway, bar, cafe, and pre-packaged foods and the VIP Lounge was only for Copa customers at the time of our visit.
Duty Free is basic. There is a Flor de Caña boutique and a local chocolatier for last minute souvenirs.
At 4 pm on a Friday most retailers were closed (including Subway) despite being staffed.
