    The Driskill

    The Driskill

    Class:
    30 reviews
Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

The historic Driskill hotel is a must-visit in Austin, even if you don't stay here. Chock-full of history, as well as ghosts, the concierge told me about mirrors in one of the ballrooms that are made of diamonds and cause your reflection to sparkle. The vintage rooms are really great with stocked bookcases in the hallways lined with ornate-framed paintings. ...

    W Austin Hotel

    W Austin Hotel

    Class:
    13 reviews
Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

The W is one of my favorite hotels as far as chains go. I was curious how they would style the Austin location. And it was nice the same W design with a little "keep Austin weird" flair.

Elegance and class are what you expect to find at the Four Seasons, and this Austin location is no exception. The staff is courteous and helpful, the service is excellent and very consistent. Rooms are comfortable-- if you can, book a room with a view looking south over the river. The hotel restaurant Trio is worth a reservation even if ...

Large spacious rooms, plenty of space to work or set up a laptop, but also just a fun vacation spot. The pool (which is shallow) is open very late which is nice for relaxing. There is a large lobby with plenty of seating to have small meetings or to work. The entire hotel is stylized in a contemporary fashion and ...

    Lakeway Resort and Spa

The use of the word "spa" is getting a little out of hand lately. While other hotels just have a menu of a dozen spa services this is a true spa resort. With a holistic look at your health and peace of mind. The facility is not huge but it is beautifully appointed. The classes are excellent and the services ...

    Omni Austin Hotel Downtown

    Class:

Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

Mammoth is the first word that comes to mind to describe the Omni Austin Hotel. The all glass building is imposing but the view from the rooms that overlook the hotel lobby is pretty cool. Definitely more of a business stay option than a romantic or vacation retreat, the Omni has lots of facilities for conference rooms, meetings, etc. If ...

Nice hotel, although it seems like the location is not ideal... it actually is. It's close to the river so if you want to run or take a stroll it's convenient! Also, if you're in town for a concert at Stubb's BBQ (or you just want to have some TX BBQ), it's very close to this as well.

The location was a bit inconvenient to downtown, but the hotel was nice with a great pool area and stiff drinks at the bar. Food options were a bit difficult to locate probably due mostly to the odd freeway system in Austin.

    Wyndham Garden Hotel Austin

This is in an excellent location with downtown just up the road and getting to the airport is a breeze. In the lobby, they do a great job of keeping up with the local “music capital of the world” theme, displaying large portraits and bios of famous musicians who have played in Austin. There’s a nice on-site bar, restaurant and ...
