    Central Market

So maybe I'm a bit weird, but I thought this was the BEST grocery store I have ever been to. They offer fun cooking classes, have some great selection of beer/wine, lots of freshly made food as well as a pretty awesome produce section.

Didn't stay for dinner, but we did grab an appetizer and drinks. The atmosphere is awesome and theres such a beautiful view of the lake. Our waiter was sorta lackluster though. He got the job done but wasnt really noticeably nice.

There are lots of great Tex-Mex places in Austin, and Z-Tejas is a favorite. Great margaritas, fabulous enchiladas with fresh, high quality ingredients. Good at accommodating large parties and the 6th Street location has a deck built around an old Texas oak tree.

A great place for a fancy family dinner above lady bird lake. Kids can roll on hill, while you sip a cocktail. Good times!

    Green Pastures Restaurant

This is a beautiful 18th century victorian home in the middle of Austin surrounded by lush grass, trees and peacocks. Inside they serve an array of delicious foods with unique and abundant ingredients served in elegantly decorated rooms. It is expensive, but certainly worth the memorable experience.

    McCormick & Schmick's Seafood

Their bar happy hour menu and even non-happy hour menu is spectacular. I would highly recommend the Lobster Bisque no matter what else you order there. The location is great as its right on the corner of 4th and Congress. They have a very diverse cocktail, wine and beer menu as well. Try the Cucumber Gimlet, it is amazingly refreshing.

The first time I went to Roy's, I was impressed as soon as I walked into the the restaurant. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly and the restaurant space is so large and elegant. The menu was a little overwhelming to me and everything looked fantastic. On my first visit, I thought the food was great but on subsequent ...
