I consider Austin Beerworks' Fire Eagle IPA to be one of the punchiest IPAs in town without being outright nasty. The brewery specializes in canned beers, and they're comparatively cheap or a local beer. They also brew an amazing amber -- Black Thunder. Tours can be arranged, but I don't think they have a regularly scheduled one.
