What a great spot for a quick pint or a small bite! The atmosphere becomes perfect in a summer day when the sun adorns the outside tables. It is at the financial/ commercial district.

Listen to great live bands at the Lucky Shag, whilst watching life on the Swan river. Visit the Bell Tower, or catch a ferry over to the zoo, or a river cruise to some of the wineries.

Great entertainment spot for all ages. Intimate size helps you get up close to those acts you really like. If they piss you off you can go out the back to the beer garden and still hear them. Best concert here by far - Coby Grant in early 2011.

This somewhat small aquarium is within easy walking distance of the Manly pier. I went when they were still putting the finishing touches on what I guess were extensive renovations, so I can only comment on the bottom floor of the facility. It is moving walkway and half-pipe exhibit. They do have a nice number of sharks that swim around ...

Salamanca Square is a nicely developed historic square near the Hobart waterfront. Its centrepiece is a large water feature and is surrounded on all sides by cafes, restaurants, and shops. There are also some fun additions like a large chess set and numerous seating areas. The Square is always lively on market days and provides a great place to people ...
