    The Cow

    3 reviews

Built into a former cow milking shed at the end of Cow Lane in central Queenstown - The Cow is a local institution. Their menu hasn't changed since the 70's and that's a good thing. Great pizza and an atmosphere that's best described as cramped, forced socializing, dark and bump-your-head low ceilings - and that's a good thing too.

    Hopetoun Tea Rooms

    3 reviews

You might have to queue to get into this quaint little tea and cake shop in the Block Arcade in Melbourne but it will be worth the wait. All the staff are lovely and friendly. There is a wide range of teas to choose from and the cakes! So many delicious looking ones. Since I was in Australia I went ...

Taking a trip around Melbourne in an old Colonial Tram car whilst being fed and having unlimited drinks served to you...sounds good? Then don't miss booking a 4 course meal. For a cost of $80 you get 4 courses of excellent food (the fillet steak was incredible and cooked to order) plus wine, champagne and other drinks. Such good value ...

    Fergburger

    21 reviews

Fergburger. Wont' be forgetting that name anytime soon. I have to admit, I actually liked a burger in New Zealand. Now granted, it wasn't 100% beef. It had some filler like bread crumbs or something. But it was tasty. The selections were great. They also had a line at the time, so it's a popular place. A little pricier then ...

One of the must-go place in Queenstown. You get a top-down view of the small town and if you are lucky, the weather changes and makes the mountains a splendor.

    Cookie

I've been here a few times when I'm after some Thai food in the city, central location in Melbourne, amazing food and a really nice atmosphere. Even when we have not been able to get into the restaurant area we have sat in the bar area which can be a bit to crowded but worth it. I really like the ...

    Cafe Sydney - Customs House

    6 reviews

Great north facing views here at sunset. Sit out on the patio if it's not chilly and watch light change color over the Harbour. The seafood platter is definitely meant for sharing and has an incredible variety of local crustaceans and mollusks. Have an Aussie beer or wine (or both) to wash it all down. Prices aren't cheap (especially if ...

    Tetsuya's

    5 reviews

Couldn't agree more, David. This is a hugely-influential restaurant and menu, which continues to endure over the years. Eating here is as much an event as it is a feast for the senses. Unless you’ve got connections or a fantastic concierge, it’s usually possible to get a table about four weeks ahead.

With these views, you never want to go out of here. Take the seats near the windows or the ones near the restaurant to listen to the live band.

    Bills Surry Hills

A breakfast perfection! The dishes are simply amazing, the scrambled eggs along with cured trout and ricotta on toast combo is incredibly fresh and tasty. The flat white coffee was the best I have tasted. The service is very good, the ambiance informal, but nice and the dishes modestly priced.

    Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe

    5 reviews

After shopping for a didgeridoo in the Rocks shops I was sort of beat. I found this shop off the main street and ordered a hot chocolate and croissant to perk me up. They have a comfy little back courtyard that gets some sun, where you can sip in peace. You can even get a good breakfast or lunch here.

    Mamak

Mamak does great Malaysian food from curries to roti. Take it from me, you can fill up on the delicious roti with dipping sauce alone, but you won't want to come to Mamak and not try some of their curry, fried chicken or even their mi goreng. My favorite part of the meal is trying to fit in a cone-shaped ...

    Ivy

Free entrance on Thursday, I've been four weeks in a row since the very first time I came here. Huge place, thousands of people, you will have a lot of fun for sure. BUT everybody goes there, that's the point. I lately started to call it "the zoo", and considering the level of intelligence/decency of average people going there that ...
