Australia & the Pacific Islands Restaurants
- 42Port Denarau Shopping Complex, Denarau Island, Viti Levu, Fiji
Although I tend to avoid places like this while abroad, it is occasionally refreshing to "transition" through one on my way home after a long trip. This was the case with my visit to the Hard Rock Cafe at Denarau. I had just returned by ferry from a week in the remote Yasawa Group, and was headed for an evening ...Popular with

Delicious Malaysian food that is totally affordable. There is always a line around the block emphasising the restaurants popularity amongst locals and visitors alike. The queue moves quickly and is totally worth the wait. The Roti with curry dips is a speciality that cannot be missed - You can watch them being prepared in the window while you wait!
- 44264 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 Australia
The Summit Restaurant and Orbit Lounge is the BEST place to go if you are a tourist visiting Sydney for the first time. It is a ROTATING restaurant and bar located on the 47th floor of Australia Square- it offers a magnificent and unequaled 360 view of Sydney, the Opera House and harbor. On a clear day you can see ...

YUM! Good sushi at really great prices for Sydney. I came here with three friends for an early dinner, while I was on vacation in Sydney. I was left feeling poor & unsatisfied after nearly every meal in Sydney... everything is so expensive & not that good! I was pleasantly surprised by Sushi on Stanley. It's definitely a bit of ...

Great place for a girls day out, we held a baby shower here for a friend and the afternoon tea was superb as was the the service. The atmosphere is moody and inviting and also perfect for a romantic dinner.

Spice Temple in Bligh St is a great Sydney Asian restaurant and a favourite for business lunches. After a short break I returned to find it is still one of Neil Perry’s great ventures. This was one of the first Asian restaurants in Sydney to deliver a taste of Asia rather than one specific Asian cuisine – and it works! ...Popular with

Nobody thinks of going to Australia for Mexican, and truthfully most of it is embarrassingly horrible. This place surprises though. You can get a couple Mexican brews, including Doe Equis, and the prawn (really should be called shrimp) quesadilla with mango salsa is delicious. A little outside seating, and plenty of places to hang out inside too.Popular with

Perfect ambience, great set-up, good food (and coffee) - service needs a bit of work on co-ordination

Firecracker Chicken + Tiger on Tap = Superior grub and subs. At first you want to think this is too trendy, or too fusion but no matter how much you fight it, its just too good. Food is varied and awesome, in Lily White New Zealand, I always see a rainbow of colors when I eat at a Monsoon Poon. ...
- 5957-59 Hampden Road, Hobart, TAS 7004 Australia
Jackman & McRoss is a delightful cafe that serves delicious bread and other baked goods. We wanted to try as many items on the menu as possible but settled for the salmon and the bacon/scrambled egg Breakfast sandwiches. Both were very good and super filling. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the CBD, Battery Park, or New Town. ...
