The Yoga in Daily Life Ashram in Brisbane is not your average yoga studio. For starters all of the staff and teachers are volunteers. Also, the building is an old World War II airplane hanger which makes for a massive room for classes.

In my opinion, the markets are are one of the best things about the Byron Shire! There are two sets of markets in Byron Bay. Byron has a weekly farmer's market and there is a large monthly craft market! The monthly market rotates location around the Shire through out the month. Located on the eastern most point of the continent which according to Aboriginal mythology is the birthplace of humanity. Next to Uluru the Cape of Bryon is one of the most sacred places in Australia. The Lighthouse itself is one of the few sites to see in Byron. It's great to be out there on the cape!

Right in the center of the city I passed by it several times. Modern cities seem to like to have a tower in the center. I imagine it's a great way to see the city but I've never really wanted to pay for just for the view.

The Poor Knights Islands lay just 22km from the shores of New Zealand’s Northland. Uninhabited since the 1820’s they are the eroded remnants of a 4 million year old volcano. Submerged by the rising tides the islands play host to a dark Maori legend of death and destruction. It is said that Maori tribes inhabited Aorangi and Tawhiti Rahi the ...
