No finer place to shop or window shop. Stroll the avenue enjoying the sights and people watching opportunities.

This bustling street is always a fun place to walk and see the sights and people of Paris. Prices are generally higher here but the window shopping is free!

I remember hearing the song in French class back in high school. The street is grand! Just like so much of this amazing city!

I saw the Champs Elysees from the window of a bus when I was 16. I remember that it's the only place I've ever seen a Lamborghini dealership in my life. I also think of the song that I learned in French Class and have heard in movies.

This famous shopping strip is one of the most notable in the world but somehow has lost a bit of its luster. A truly grand boulevard but home to a few too many chain restaurants and can get a bit gritty at times.

Simply put, you haven't been to Paris if you didn't stroll down this road. The road is filled with cafés, luxurious brands and shops plus a view of Arc de Triomphe. Bienvenue à Paris!

Ahh, Paris. You can't help but hum a tune or sigh romantically on this famous avenue - for that classic "I'm really in Paris" feeling, the fashionistas and shoppers alike will simply drool. Every brand name under the sun opens doors here, offering days of shopping - or a lovely stroll down the length of it toward the Arc du Triomphe.

Reminds me of Paris' glamorous past. There is shopping and yes it has become a bit touristy, still a visit to Paris would not be complete without visiting Champs-Elysees.

There is no real trip to Paris without going on the Champs-Elysees. This may be the most well-known avenue in the world. Best time to go there is mid-to-end December when the Christmas lights are on. When I am in Paris i always try and catch a good French movie in one of the multiple theaters there.

THE great shopping lane in the world. The Champs-Elysees leads straight to the Arc de Triomphe, but before that you'll walk along some of the biggest luxury brands in the world. Mont Blanc, Louis Vuitton, Chanel. Every top brand you can think of is represented here. Watch Japanese tourists walk with their bags full of expensive merchandise.

The most thrilling and beautiful avenue I've ever seen or experienced. I could stroll it for hours or sit at a cafe and people watch all afternoon.

The most famous road in all of Paris! It's beautiful and home to many popular/well-known stores and cafes.

Description

Lined with trees, street vendors, restaurants, outdoor cafes, and (of course) the highest end chain and boutique shopping opportunities in, perhaps, the world, the Avenue de Champs-Elysees is one of the most famous streets in the world-- there's even an eponymous song (Oh, Champs Elysee. Je m'baladais sur l'avenue, le coeur ouvert a l'inconnu...). When you get to the end, be sure to rest your ... read more
