is creole food. Quite spicy and tasty. I had the special of pork belly with eggs and grits. It was good, but it didn't blow me away or anything. I don't think I am going back to subject myself to the long wait.

a focus) and every item is fantastic (I just ate here an hour ago and three of us split four items). First of all, I love that the chai and latte come in a huge bowl instead of a coffee cup. And then there are the 'Miracle Pancakes,' cornmeal pancakes with homemade lemon curd (you can buy jars for $9) and strawberries. And the egg dishes! Try one of their takes on eggs benedict with crab, bacon, tomatoes or avocados. On a warm day, the back patio feels like a secret garden. It's almost worth the wait (and the pain parking; Cole Valley is tough).
