This is one of the most beautiful, swanky and unique places to spend an evening out in the hip Barranco. I love that, instead of tearing down old colonial Barranco and starting over with something modern, this bar has contributed to the revival of the area by renovating a charming old mansion and making it fresh and new. The drinks here are more expensive than in many other places in the area, but you really can't beat the atmosphere - and every drink I've ever tried here has been delicious, so at least you are getting something good for your money.

Though it's named after the hallucinogenic Amazonian drink, there's nothing here that will send you on a spiritual trip. This bar took over an old colonial mansion in Barranco. Inside, each room has it's own vibe. Some rooms are great for catching up with friends - another has a bar in the center and it much more upbeat. The interiors are swanky and loungy yet they hold to its indigenous roots. You can say the same for its stellar cocktails. There are many spins to the classic pisco sour - some of the varieties include Peruvian ingredients such as maracuya (passion fruit) or purple corn. My group was so impressed...even though we started our night here before barhopping, this was our favorite and had to return before the night was over.
