    Gerry's Grill

    0.03 mi from Ayala Avenue

Full ear-shatteringly loud bass (thanks to the massive speaker system blasting 80's classics), the atmosphere might be a little weird, but the meaty Filipino favorites (including more variations on fish and pork than you can shake a stick at) are outstanding. Portions are huge as well, but bring a pair of ear-plugs.

    Pepper Lunch

Located inside a mall, this place was DELICIOUS! It's considered Japanese, and it was so much fun to eat. You get a sizzling platter of raw sliced steak and you "cook" it yourself alongside beansprouts, corn, and add rice or udon. The meat was super tender and mixing everything together was so delicious. I wish they had one here in ...

This place isn't fancy - it looks a bit like a school cafeteria....but my god, the food is amazing. The pasta, pizza and desserts were all to die for. The gelato cake was truly mind blowing. Everything was also extremely well-priced - bonus!

This used to be located in Greenbelt One, Legazpi St. but when the new and upscale Greenbelt 5 opened they moved. A favourite of mine is the spicy buffalo wings. When I go with a big group we usually order the bottomless chips with salsa. For an additional charge they can also give you the cheese dip which I love. ...

If you are in the Philippines and love Starbucks, you can thank this place. First Starbucks in the Philippines and it impresses. I go upstairs to find a quiet spot, grab the newspaper or crack open the laptop and enjoy my tall coffee and corned beef pandesal.

The Seafood Club By Red Crab

Since I love seafoods I love the place. They serve buffet daily but of course sizes of the crabs in the buffet table are a lot smaller. If you want the real mccoy order a la carte. Buffet price reasonable depending on whether you go on a weekday or weekend. The only thing I don't like with eating crabs is ...

I missed Ramen house when it closed a few years ago so when I tried the Ramen here, I knew I found the right place to go to when I experience my cravings for real good Ramen. I usually order their Ramen Special. They also serve other staple Japanese dishes such as sashimi and tempura.

This place is located in the open air section of the mall right across the quad area from a starbucks. I always thought it funny that this was done and for some reason or another I like it for the fact that it is not nearly as busy as the said starbucks. Between you and me, I find that the ...

Majorly adorable chocolate shop with a gorgeous display of goods (no photos allowed, sorry!). Have iced or hot chocolate with some delicious truffles and little cakes, and you may find your happy place. (Have I mentioned I want to move in here?) The red-and-white-themed chocolaterie also serves three meals a day...but why would you need anything else besides the chocolate?

I love japanese food and although its not one of the best serving them, I still go to Kai because its accessible, great ambiance and located at the upscale Greenbelt 5. Good Filipino food! It's a casual eatery good for small groups (and I've heard from friends it makes a decent a first date place...though that could be Greenbelt in genera)l. Outdoor seating means you can people watch. I've liked everything I've eaten here, but Sinigang na Corned Beef is what they're known for. It sounds like an odd thing, but ...
