Although the Philippines is a country that has an amount of museums that is not enough to sate my thirst for history, this one in Greenbelt, is enough for half a day. I spent at least an hour just admiring the diaromas! Plus, it's organized even by European standards!

This Museum is just a few minutes away from Rockwell. They have notable pieces there too.

A little bit steep for a museum but the collections are simply amazing. Must See: Dioramas!

Description

The Ayala Museum gives visitors to Manila not only a good historical perspective of the Philippines, but also a fine representation of the country's most celebrated artists. Not many museums attempt to combine history and art, and the Ayala does it well. The historical collection is set around 60 handcrafted dioramas. The art collection centers around the Philippines most influential artists, Juan ... read more
Luna (1857-1899), Fernando Amorsolo (1882-1972), and Fernando Zobel (1924-1984). Nineteenth century art in the Philippines was greatly influenced by European thought, and helped transform the country into the modern Philippines.
