When you walk through the gates you hear the accordion, seen the tables of traditional Sardinian breads, and cheeses, and then the kids scampering around and then you'll probably make a beeline to the table with poured glasses of red Cannonau and white Vermentino. Our group enjoyed a generous dinner of traditional Sardinian foods. We had a vegetarian among us, so we held off on the porceddu (piglet roasted on a spit), but wandered over to the huge fireplace to see and smell porceddu being prepared. The place is a bit touristy (Italians mostly) but still a lot of fun. We were in a group of 7, but nearby, two single Italian businessmen were dining alone (though they did end up chatting with each other). and seemed to be enjoying their meals.Recommended for:
