Bywater's favorite mullet-business, Bacchanal's street facing shop is a tiny wine store. But in the back? Magic. Pick up a bottle up front, grab a pair of glasses and walk out into an enormous back yard full of mismatched lawn furniture, tables and chairs, twinkle lights, tiki torches, and a small stage where local musicians play live music most nights of the week. Don't forget to squirt some bug spray on before making the trek!Recommended for:

A unique place where wine, cheese, gourmet food and great music converge in a funky space. you buy a bottle of wine upfront and then walk out to the courtyard for dinner and live music. They have a rotation of excellent chefs who create different menus of excellent options every night. If it's raining or freezing you don't want to go here as all of the seating is outside.

Wow. This is a cozy wine "bar" in the Bywater. You can purchase a bottle of wine from the a well-curated collection at the shop along with Tartine bread and cheeses, grab a glass, and walk to the backyard. It is lit up with string lights, a band is often playing, and you can order some small plates if you have an appetite. It's a magical place.
