A very simple idea but also extremely delicious! I love the island bowl and Dans bowl. For those who unfamiliar with Backyard Bowls, its a healthy smoothies blended up in a bowl with fresh fruit and other ingredients thrown on top. Very filling and tasty!

Not a bad place to stay when you're in Goleta. Conveniently located on Calle Real right next to Trader Joe's and the Fairview shopping center. So if you're traveling with a group that needs to be at UCSB it's a good location.

This is a nice hotel and a good option if you are in the area. Teams like to stay here - the hotel has a good layout and a pool centrally located. It is a little old and there are some newer hotels in the area if that interests you. Good rates usually.Popular with

This is a nicely done new hotel in Goleta. Most of the other options are older properties so it is a great choice. They have free internet in the rooms, free breakfast and gym/fitness room. Great location in old town Goleta and still close to SB.

Free breakfast, free wifi, quiet and spacious rooms, and a reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?! They are also pet friendly and make the breakfast to your specific liking. Remember that the rooms are suites so they come with all the fixings (mini-fridge and pull out sofa, dvd player, flat screen). It's a great place to stay if ...

Brand New as of August 23, 2012. Very well done with spacious rooms - a sharp business hotel however easily doubles as a vacation hotel in the area with all everything you need. Great location biking distance to the beach and UCSB. Near shopping and restaurants as well, and close to downtown SB.Popular with

This is the first time that I've decided to stay here. I've decided to stay here because of it's "PRICE". I thought that I wouldn't be staying in the room much, so I wanted to stave some money on hotel room and spend it elsewhere. Gets the job done if you're coming to the Santa Barbara area. Located on upper State Sreet, so it's not quite downtown and it's still 8 miles or so from Goleta. It's right in between. This is a motel so don't go in with any expectations. Really meager breakfast but the staff is friendly. The reason to go here would ...Popular with

The Fess Parker DoubleTree Resort exemplifies why Santa Barbara is sometimes referred to as the "California Riviera". Just steps from the famous East Beach, with its world-class beach volleyball and art exhibits, it's also a stone's throw from nearby Stearn's Wharf. The Wharf is saturated with dining and nightlife, but many choose simply to take in a Santa Barbara sunset ...Popular with

The storied El Encanto, once a favorite of A-listers such as Clark Gable, reopened in March 2013 after extensive renovations as the first West Coast resort from Orient-Express Hotels. Its 92 California Craftsman and Spanish-colonial-revival bungalows cover the lush, seven-acre property. Once a small family operation, the Simpson House has become an internationally renowned bed & breakfast destination for tourists and staycationers alike. The rooms are decadent - in a floral, old-fashioned way. The grounds are gorgeous: all private gardens and spacious verandas. And the breakfast itself is top notch - think poached pears, homemade scones, homemade granola, and fresh-squeezed juice. ...Popular with

Stayed here for our wedding weekend, and this boutique hotel didn't disappoint. It has that signature Santa Barbara mission revival style, with the white stucco walls and the red-tile roofs. Gayle and I booked the Encina Lodge through Expedia and on short reservations notice, it was one of the few places within inner Santa Barbara that had reasonably priced single night availability in a 2 night minimum town.
