We plan to stay at the Green Valley resort where last year we rented an apartment(P12000/mo) for 3 months. The resort is located off the Marcos Hwy a 30 minute drive to the SM mall. You are literally ABOVE the clouds..BEAUTIFUL :-)Recommended for:

Baguio is seen by Filipinos as a nice city in the mountains to escape from Manila. And it may be that. But to me it was just another city with noisy traffic and exhaust belching jeepneeys. It does have quite a big park in the center of town. Mostly I just used the city to catch transportation to Banaue and Batad and Sagada.Recommended for:

The city where I can walk almost a kilometer. lols. But seriously, I like walking in this city. it's cold and places are not really not that far. Well.. for me. And their thrift shops are amazing! Also, the taxi fare! So cheap and still FX! Barkada Trip!

I used to love Baguio when I was little. But this city in the clouds ain't what it used to be. The cold weather is still there. The lovely people are still there. The Pine trees are still there. The fog is still there. And sometimes, there still seems some magic behind the mist. But because of the relentless development, the mountains aren't that captivating anymore.
But Baguio is still worth the visit during the cold months from December to February.
I guess I owe it to Baguio to go there during the Panagbenga (Flower Festival). It may make me fall in love with the city again.
For now, I am giving Baguio 3 stars just because of the good memories I have of it.

i love baguio for its very cold weather compared to other places in the Phil...i love the vegetables, fruits..also the wagwagan for very cheap quality secondhand clothes..i also enjoy d beauty spots, but the city government should strictly enforce cleanliness around the city esp around burnham park..i strongly NOT recommend staying in Prime Hotel at Session road for security reasons (all gadgets of my friend were stolen inside d room w/o force opening of the room's door)..
