Great eats, good beers and decent prices all a couple blocks from the Venice pier. Wall down to see the sunset and then head over for your reservation (required on weekends). Fish tacos and blackened burrito were great! Big portions.

Some friends were in town and staying in MDR, and were not sure where to go. They had walked to Venice and seen this place, so decided to give it a try.

Friday night, about 715pm. The parking is sparce, but there is valet. Nice touch. (let them worry about it). Place looks packed, as a lot of people sitting outside. Go to the hostess and she seats our party of 4 right away. (love that!) The atmosphere is great. Funky interior, and nice vibe.

We ordered a number of different things. Couple of burritos, and a couple of bowls. The chips are great, and good salsa. Plus they provide hot sauces on the table to add more fire to them.

Drinks - We ordered the Cadillac, which was made with bar brand tequila? We realized when the waitress asked if we wanted another tequila (I thought Cadillac meant it was "top shelf"). Then there were options on the size. (we got the medium for the first, and the small for the second - the amount of booze must be the same ... because the small was very strong)

The food came and was great. Well prepared, and tasty.

We did get them to bring us a Lava cake for a birthday too. Very well done, and even a small scoop of ice cream on top.
