By far the best public beach in Maui. Small surf, long sandy beaches. And you are a stones throw from downtown Paia where there are tons of nifty shops and restaurants. At the end of the beach towards Sprecklesville is a place known as "baby beach" because the water is shallow and the waves are very gentle. One of our favourite places in the world!

Baldwin is the prettiest beach on the north shore, with sweeping views of north Maui. By and large the North Shore is not great for swimming, but on the far right end of Baldwin there is a cove that is protected by both the surf and the wind, with lots of shade. Baldwin is really long, so its great for running or taking long walks at sunset. No surfing here.

Great place to relax on the North Shore of Maui! A great local spot that often has an amazing mix of locals and visitors. The cove at the far right is often sheltered from the wind and the keiki beach at the other far end is great for kids because of the naturally protected reef inlet.
