Not a fan of this hotel. I visit Atlantic City for weekend stays about 2-3 times a year. This particular weekend many hotels were sold out for various events so we stayed at Bally's as it was a last minute booking. We were less than pleased with room. There was a giant red stain on the carpet, I'm not sure what it could be but we had a few guesses. The room was dusty and did not feel clean.
Also, the elevators are located right in the lobby area with no one checking room keys to make sure only guests of the hotel were going upstairs to rooms. This did prove to be a problem when we had people pounding on our door at 5am, not sure if they were hotel guests or people just wandering around.
Not just for cleanliness but also safety I would recommend going somewhere else that at least has a security guard downstairs making sure casino guests aren't wandering upstairs to where hotel guests are staying.

I always say I don't like this place and then I end up spending a ton of time here whenever I go to Atlantic City. It has a central location, cheap table games, quite a few 9-6 Jacks or Better video poker machines, and 1-1 no-limit hold 'em in the poker room. Plus they have the most frequent bus service to and from New York City. I can't quit you, Bally's.

Bally's Casino is one of 4 properties in Atlantic City owned by Harrah's Entertainment. It's got a fantastic location, right in the middle of the boardwalk. Nanking is a great place for asian food, with the only other location being in New York City. Happy Hour is Sunday thru Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, and includes
half-price appetizers, $3.50 select beers and wine and $6 specialty cocktails. The average check only runs about $15 per person. Be sue to try the lemongrass beef lollipops and the snow crab and chives dumplings. If you like golf, you can play Atlantic City Country club, which is a gorgeous, challenging, and historic course located about 15 minutes from Bally's. I always make sue to stop by for a visit to Bally's anytime I am in Atlantic City and have never had any problems or complaints.

Located right on the boardwalk and directly next to Caesars, Bally's is the place to go to drink on a budget. At the Mountain Bar its happy hour 24 hours a day, beers were $2 and cocktails were $5, with bar top dancing vixens keeping us entertained. Sammy's Beach Bar had live music during the day and good lunch food for a fair price by Atlantic CIty standards. The Legends show at the theater was very entertaining for just over $30 per adult and a good way to spend an evening. I signed up for a Total Rewards Players Card here and got credit for any gambling at Caesars, Harrah's and Showboat all combined into one. Harry's Oyster Bar is a seafood bar and sports bar combined into one. The Mahi Mahi soft tacos were excellent, and we ate outside on the patio overlooking the boardwalk and beach.
