Bally's is another great hotel on the Las vegas trip, because the staff is nice, the atmosphere is fun and entertaining, and the food is great. On my last trip to Bally's Hotel & Casino I stopped in with some friends who were from out of town, and we went and ate had some drinks in the mexican restaurant in the hotel. The food was good and from where we were sitting we could here a band setting up in the lounge area. After we we were done we actually stuck around and listened to the band play who ended up drawing in a pretty good crowd.
Bally's is in the middle of the strip which makes it a perfect place to stay at, because then you are not far from all the other hotels and such located on the strip.

Loved this hotel because of the price! Yes Bally's needs a remodel because it's one of the older hotels on the strip... but it has one of the best locations! Right across from the Bellagio and Caesar's Palace. If you get a room in the south tower you can see the Bellagio Fountain show. The service at the front desk, cleaning ladies, and bell hops were all really friendly to us. The rooms are simple but for the price you can't really complain.

The location is good for it's central spot on the strip and walking distance for Paris, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan.
We paid the extra $50 to get upgraded to a suite and were excited until we got to the room. Yea it was big, but it was just floor space between the bed and the TV. And the room itself looked really old and awkward with the railings separating the bedroom and the bathroom area.
While we were unpacking and exploring a little bit, we heard lots of noises from the next room in addition to doors banging shut. My bf called the front desk to ask to get moved to another room and after some waiting, negotiating, and checking, we got moved to the North Tower for a standard room on the Diamond floor. Sweet!
The room in this renovated tower was much much better than the old suite. It was smaller but overall it looked, and felt much more comfortable.
Get rooms in the North Tower for sure.

I actually like Bally's a lot, it's a quaint hotel in the middle of the strip, well, as quaint as you can get at the most fabulous city in the world.. the casino is super nice and the easy access to Paris and shuttle to Rio are a definite plus!

Again not the best place on the strip but not the worst, by far. Ballys is a classic, one of the last remaining properties from the second wave of the Las Vegas Strip development. The rooms are a nice size, and clean. A tip, if you check in on Foursquare, you unlock two for one drinks at any casino bar (It unlocks every time you check in)! Now you have no excuse not to stop in and have a drink or three! Enjoy!

A little bit older and more worn-down, but still a nice place to stay on the Strip. The location is pretty central so you can easily get to some of the popular attractions nearby. Sometimes if you're very nice when checking in and slip the front desk a tip (or just ask), they'll upgrade you to one of the rooms with a jacuzzi. All in all a solid choice if you don't want to pay the big bucks for some of the nicer hotels.

Stayed here because of a convention, and Bally's ended up being okay. The price was raised because of the convention, which I don't think was necessarily worth it, but the rooms weren't too bad. It looked a little outdated, but the bathrooms were nice. I just wish there were brighter lights in the room and outlets near the beds. Overall though, it's a decent place to stay.

Bally's is a remnant of old Vegas that is still kicking and hanging around. It connects straight to the Paris hotel if you want to have more gambling and dining options. The rooms are old but roomier than most rooms I've been to in Vegas. It is quite worth it if you can get a view facing the Bellagio fountains.
