Loved this hotel because of the price! Yes Bally's needs a remodel because it's one of the older hotels on the strip... but it has one of the best locations! Right across from the Bellagio and Caesar's Palace. If you get a room in the south tower you can see the Bellagio Fountain show. The service at the front desk, cleaning ladies, and bell hops were all really friendly to us. The rooms are simple but for the price you can't really complain.

Bally's is a remnant of old Vegas that is still kicking and hanging around. It connects straight to the Paris hotel if you want to have more gambling and dining options. The rooms are old but roomier than most rooms I've been to in Vegas. It is quite worth it if you can get a view facing the Bellagio fountains.

I personally did not enjoy the stay here. There wasn't anything interesting about the Casino or the room. Ran out of hot water a few times. Not a bad choice however if you want a cheap room that you don't plan on staying in for the most part.

I actually like Bally's a lot, it's a quaint hotel in the middle of the strip, well, as quaint as you can get at the most fabulous city in the world.. the casino is super nice and the easy access to Paris and shuttle to Rio are a definite plus!

The rooms at Bally’s are a little older, but still not as bad as the ones at Flamingo. The rooms are clean and decent sized for Vegas, but just not as extravagant as the rooms in Aria or the like. Bally’s is conveniently located in the middle of the Strip, so you can easily head over to the other hotels for gambling and shows.

Bally's is another one of the older hotels on the strip, however, they're located in prime location and often times have good deals.
They recently renovated and I have to say, part of their remodeled casino floor is quite nice! Apparently the poker areas here are pretty "hot" and popular spots now.
Interestingly enough, Bally's has the best brunch in town- the Sterling Brunch. Served up only once a week on Sundays, their famous brunch has the most delicious lobster tails & caviar! Be sure to make reservations.

The people mover (flat elevator) in front of the hotel to get people to the front door always reminds me of a Disneyland ride. It's like, going back to the future or something.
Yes, this hotel is VERY dated. But, it's in such a prime location you can almost overlook it. Right next door to Paris (and connected internally), it's part of the Harrah group so you can use their shuttles to get to the other Harrah properties. Recently they also featured a buffet special where you can eat at all the properties over a 24 hour period for $40. That just sounds like extreme excess.
