These rice terraces spread up the mountain along the road up from Banaue. They are made of mud as opposed to those in Batad which are made of stone.

    Yoghurt House

Aptly named, the homemade yogurt is deeeeelish! There are yogurt bowls with fruit on the bottom, and there are plates made up with yogurt in these crepe-like cakes. Throw on some local honey, and get ready to start your day. It's in the center of the town proper, but the little place can be elusive to find. A definite DO ...

Basic hotel rooms, some with, some without bath. Most go for 200 peso per person. Staff is friendly and helpful enough. Great view out over the river and up to the rice terraces. Food at the restaurant is also decent enough. Make sure to get a room on the upper floors, the lower ones are musty.

Try the Pork Steak with Mashed Potatoes ...

You almost miss it because the entrance is just a little stairwell that leads to an equally little terrace. It's quiant and rustic and serves pretty good food. It will be a bit of a wait since it's a mom and pop shop...as are many places around here. But it's a good, quick, chill bite. The shakes are pretty good ...

    Sagada Lemon Pie House

18.42 mi from Banaue Rice Terraces

Every guidebook raves about the lemon pie at this place. While it certainly wasn't bad, it doesn't deserve the mention it gets. Definitely average.
