A fantastic place to stop and admire the view of the lush 'Scotland District' and the eastern coastline of Barbados. On a clear day you can see all the way along the coast to the Ragged Point lighthouse. If you're driving a rented car, note that the road heading down the hill is quite steep and winding. In the Worthing/Hastings area this was my favorite beach. Lounge Chairs available for fair rates, cool little shack sized spots for food and drink right by the lifeguard stand. The sand is soft, the water refreshing and the sunsets off the charts. There is pretty good snorkeling a bit of a swim from the beach. Go with a buddy...I didn't ...

Superb views overlooking the lush countryside and eastern coastline. This is a lovely spot for a picnic with lots of picnic benches. Children will love running around the grounds, and the playpark. The ruins of the historic house are still standing. This was used in filming the "Island In The Sun" movie starring Harry Belafonte.

    Kensington Oval

Fantastic cricket ground, steeped in history. To sit behind the bowler's arm the 3W's stand is the best. It also has concession stands and washrooms. The Greenidge & Haynes stand is the most lively :) In addition to cricket, Kensington Oval is also used for football and for music and cultural events.
