Spring fed water at a constant 68 F makie this the place to cool ya heels after a night out in the 'World's Capital of Live Music.' The lush setting and adjacent dog park make this a killer place for people watching, catching a few rays and z's.

The best way to beat the heat in Austin. Barton springs is a massive, natural springs pool just outside the city. On a hot day, people come to congregate - swimming or just hanging out on the grass hill around the pool. The water is pretty cold - feels great on a hot day. Great for kids or adults. The best though is to go at night on a warm night!

This is one of the best places to spend your afternoon on a hot summer day. The water is cold and refreshing and the people watching is amazing. This is one of my favorite attractions Austin has to offer.

Swim in the constant 68-degree waters of Barton Springs Pool, a spring-fed swimming hole in Zilker Park. Voted the "Best Swimming Hole in Texas."

This water is soooo cold. It is a blast on a hot summer day. Naturally spring fed, the water is so clear and beautiful. It is a fantastic place to relax/sunbathe/swim in Austin. Also its great for the kids.

Fabulous way to spend a hot day, water feels great. The grassy hillside is a great place for a picnic and the playgorund (outside the pool area) is huge and has areas for different aged kids.
If you are feeling the price is too steep you can swim just downstream for free

Barton Springs is the Swimming pool of Austin, a must see when your in this great city. Located in Zilker Park, this park offers volleyball, hiking, greenbelt, playground, pic nic areas, a train ride through the park (great for kids), burger and snow cone stand. Barton Springs is a place to where all of Austin comes to relax and soak in the sunlight, while taking a dip in a natrual spring. 15min walk from the condo.

Barton Springs Pool is the heart and soul of Austin. Dip in the 68F degree waters or simply enjoy lying in the shade of the huge old pecan trees.

Austin has 2 seasons, hot and not so hot. So except for about 10 days a year this pool cannot be beat for cooling off or people watching.

Amazing springfed pool, open year-round and 69* constant water temperature. Lay a towel on the grass for some rays, or relax under a tree. Don't forget the float & flippers for the kiddos!!!
