The Basilica di San Lorenzo was constructed in the early part of the 15th century by the Medici family. The Church was the personal Church of the Medici family, and the Medicis are all buried inside this Church.

Connected to the Medici Chapels, this basilica is one of the largest churches in Florence. Its interior is stunning and it is located within close walking distance of the Duomo. Definitely not to be missed.
