Bea's is a pint-size place that serves excellent homemade cakes and marshmallows, and a wonderful afternoon tea. I can still taste the cupcake with herb cream cheese frosting that was my introduction to the place. Classic, yet inventive. Tiny, but will occupy plenty of space in your heart.

Bea's of Bloomsbury serves excellent coffees and cakes. It's most noted for the duffin, a mix between a muffin and a doughnut. The decor is a little kitschy, but the overall environment is nice and cozy, especially on a cold rainy day..

A real gem for afternoon tea - this is the best casual afternoon tea venue around. Skip the fancypants hotel afternoon tea and come to Bea's - the desserts and scones are absolutely fantastic. Cheesecake was light and decadent at the same time. Scone was flavourful and light.

We didn't go to Beas, but we booked their Pop Up on the Rooftop afternoon tea. Tiers of cakes, brownies, mini sandwiches, and cupcakes accompanied by delicious tea and pims. It was a fun time with the girls.

You won't find cream teas this good anywhere else in London (and there's some stiff competition out there!). Bea puts her own stamp on every treat with unusual and delicious flavours. Yum!
