    ABC Mall

    Beirut, Lebanon
    4.5
    6 reviews

The best Mall in Lebanon in term of Architecture, shopping experience, restaurants variety and shops. It's indoor/outdoor ambiguity turns the place not into a boring mall, but instead into a vibrant market-style image. It's a little labyrinthic for first timers and can get lost but that's also part of the fun: discovering.

    La Plage

La Plage is spectacular. This is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the Lebanese beach club experience. The pool can get a bit crowded. I'd opt for a lingering lunch in the restaurant. A great spot to fill up on exceptional mezze, have a glass or wine, and stare out at the ocean and a gorgeous mix of ...

    ABC Dbayeh

    أتستراد البحر, Beirut, Lebanon

    2 reviews

The Other ABC mall branch, located in Dbayeh, is as much a pleasurable experience as ABC Achrafieh. It is never too crowded (except Christmas :P) and offers a wide variety of interesting shops. Not to forget the newly opened cinemas that includes one VIP. And the restaurants at the terrace are a waiting-list ritual during summer.

It was at this bar that I had this, "Ohhhh, I see what Beirut's all about!" moment. Such a great, non-flashy mix of interesting people from all over the world. The bar is part of a larger hostel/cafe/language school compound, so there's always a flow of younger students in and out. And often really good music--funky DJs or cool traditional ...

    citymall

    Beirut, Lebanon

Although it's the biggest mall in Beirut, it's quality that matters, not quantity. It offers a lot of standard stores of every department. My favorites are Virgin, 'BHV déco' for homes and Topshop for Clothes and a nice variation of restaurants in the food court. And I have to say, it's one of the best cinemas so far. Beware of ...

This is Beirut's best and most consistent art-house cinema, and it screens a lot of Lebanese and regional indie films, as well as classics. In the month I was in Beirut, I saw several great films here that really fleshed out my understanding of local history and culture. Plus, it's just a groovy cinema, with cool mod furniture in the ...
