Attractive modern / rebuilt shopping area -- the architecture and nearby minarets give it a bit of a souk-like atmosphere but with a hefty dose of shopping mall. A must-see if you are in Beirut. Easy, relaxed, pleasant. A good place to see locals kick back and enjoy themselves. A few local brands but mostly international.Popular withFamiliesLuxury

Fireworks light up the Beirut sky every Saturday making it visible from the mountains surrounding the city ...Popular withAdventure

Not to forget the newly opened cinemas that includes one VIP. And the restaurants at the terrace are a waiting-list ritual during summer.

The bar is part of a larger hostel/cafe/language school compound, so there's always a flow of younger students in and out. And often really good music--funky DJs or cool traditional ...Popular withLGBTNightlifeBudget

Although it's the biggest mall in Beirut, it's quality that matters, not quantity. It offers a lot of standard stores of every department. My favorites are Virgin, 'BHV déco' for homes and Topshop for Clothes and a nice variation of restaurants in the food court. And I have to say, it's one of the best cinemas so far. Beware of ...
