    Atomium

Square de l'Atomium, City of Brussels, Belgium

    44 reviews

So much bigger than the picture would have you believe. I didn't go in since it's a bit pricey for nothing much. 4 stars, though, is mostly for the surrounding area which has at least 4 separate parks, each with a different feel and personality. A great place to spend a morning or afternoon relaxing.

The Royal Palace is where all court ceremonies and state receptions are held. However, the royal family doesn't usual reside in this palace instead living in the Royal Castle of Laken. Though if the Belgian flag is flying it means the royal family is in residence. Unfortunately, I wasn't in Brussels in the summer so I was unable to go ...

This tower is a must see in Bruges. The tiny staircase that you have to climb is full of medieval charm. Then once you reach the top you have great views of the entire city. Just make sure to bring some water if you're not used to climbing so many stairs and a camera for some great pictures.

The Musical Instruments Museum (MIM) is a real treasure, where you can listen to many of the 1,500 instruments on display through infrared headphones. It’s housed in the former Old England department store built in 1899 in the art nouveau style, and has the best view of the center of Brussels from the roof top café. The buidling alone is ...

    Kathedraal

Groenplaats 21, Antwerp, VLG 2000 Belgium
    4.5
    7 reviews

As most of it is squashed between houses and small streets, it is difficult to see this magnificent building as a whole and almost impossible to get it on photo. The tower with its stone "lacework" is almost more air then stone. The inside is also very nice and it is filled with grandiose art from different periods.
