Covent Garden was one of my favourite spots in London. I think it's a pretty magical place to take a date, or even grab a bite with your friends. There's lots to see and everything is pretty.

Leicester Square is pretty much London's Times Square thought its not nearly as loud or garish. Plenty of shopping in the area...if you don't mind the exchange rate, shows, restaurants and more bars then pubs here

Well, it's an Apple store. If you don't care for Apple stores it's certainly not much to write home about. But if you appreciate Apple products, you're bound to be somewhat impressed. It's a great location with fabulous shopping nearby.

I prefer the market before all the people get here. Just when the opera singers are warming up along in the atrium. The locals are passing through with their morning coffees and the fresh foods are being delivered for the day.

If you're looking for a brilliant nerdy store, Forbidden Planet is exactly that. My only complaint about it would be that it tends to get really packed and there's so much to look at that it becomes quite difficult to look at anything for an extended period of time. A few things are a bit on the pricy side but ...

An old standby, if you are heading out to East London and are a member of Soho House or have a friend who is, pop in to check out the rooftop pool deck and a nice meal. Trendy, scruffy looking east London hipsters. The design is reminiscent of NY Soho house if you are familiar with that....

This is a private members' club catering for professionals within the film, media and creative industries, founded in the late 20th century in London. Its diverse ambiance allows for perfect days/evenings of work, dine and party; the roof terrace and the cinema spaces are particularly nice. Not only the elegant ambiances, but also the consistently good dishes served along with ...

I'm torn on this one. Like many old theatres in London, the seating must be designed for VERY short people. Absolutely no leg room regardless of where you sit. But, its a beautiful old theatre with lots of good shows coming thru it. Still worth every penny.

Old Compton Street in Soho is the epicentre of Gay London life. A stroll along this street at virtually any time of the day will guarantee access to gay bars, restaurants, cafes, fashion outlets, sex shops, gift shops, and more – and all targeted towards a gay clientele. I recall being a closeted 13 year old and travelling to Old ...

Few items say "London" more than the umbrella. You'll catch nary a Londoner leaving the house without one, year 'round. James Smith & Sons, in Bloomsbury, has been in business since 1830 and still makes some of its umbrellas and walking sticks in house. While umbrellas are the most popular item in London, according to their website "Much of the ...

I can never find a decent place to eat around Trafalgar Square, and so was over the top psyched to find this little French place. Great wine list and fab menu ranging from oysters to rillette to partridge to a clam and bacon dish that is done much better than you'd expect. They've got theatre menu deals as well.
