The park is fun for kids with the carnival rides and games including the Wave House, and for adults/teens it's an area where there are always a lot of people. There are a couple of bars/restaurants and a great beach boardwalk to walk/skate/bike/people watch.

Belmont Park is a fun family friendly amusement park in Mission Beach that offers free parking and free admission. There are both traditional and modern rides and games - something to suit everyone. Ride The Giant Dipper or The Beach Blaster, play mini-golf, take a turn getting wet on The Flow Rider and The Flow Barrel, shop for beach gear at the local shops and kiosks, and grab a bit to eat at one of the many fantastic eateries.

Belmont Park is a neat little amusement park that has fun rides for the kids including a historical wooden roller coaster called the Giant Dipper. There are some restaurants and shopping here too all a short bike ride away from the condo.

It's like a smaller version of the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. Less things to do, but yet new things that Santa Cruz Boardwalk don't have. I liked the mirror maze, the rope course, and tron-like ride. The wooden roller coaster is so bumpy. They have an artificial wave rider/surfing thing there that you can purchase to do. The beach is not that great. Overall, it was still pretty cool to check out. The park gets 3 stars, but the time there with my lovee is 5 stars & more. :)

Growing up in San Diego, Belmont Park was the closest thing we had to a "theme park" since at the time there was no Legoland or all the rides at Sea World. I think what I love about Belmont Park mainly is more based in nostalgia than anything else. :)

A mini amusement park along side the beach, complete with all the essential theme park must-haves; a roller coaster, carousel, arcade games, oversized stuffed animals, candy apples, popcorn and hotdogs. What could be better than climbing up the roller coaster and gazing out over the sparkling blue ocean before plummeting down below? Nothing!
