Yes, the potato puffs was good, BUT everything else was super disappointing. I will review Gregoire restaurant as a whole, not just for their potato puffs. I do not want to mislead others. 1) Hygiene alert = the so called girl who was the chef never once did I saw her wash her hands. Keep touching the fish and then ...

    La Note

Meh on the La Note Pain Perdu. Nothing special and no included sides. Homefries were decent. Pain Perdu Chocolat would have been good, but the piece I tried had a super TOUGH crust. Also no additional sides. Should have gone with the potato omlette :( They all looked so good coming out of the kitchen.

I absolutely love this place!! The owner is absolutely adorable and clearly cares a lot about her customers experience. She has an all you can eat breakfast & brunch buffet for $10. This is not your normal buffet, often she has a mixture of classic breakfast foods like french toast and eggs Benedict along side tabbouleh, hummus, lemon chicken - ...

A neighborhood gem, wonderful food and exceptional service. Great for special occasions. Small bar but if you can grab a seat and eat there, it's a good thing. Excellent wine list - love their sparklings!

    La Bedaine

I've lived in Albany since the early 1990's and this store space has been occupied by many folks including Harry the Baker, Pizza Rustica, and Lola's. This "potbelly" space is small and compact and it's backstreet kitchen has a long history of churning out wide and tasty varieties of good food. The tradition continues, although so far I have limited ...

I have been here twice and each time I was here, I ended up at the bar ordering Moscow Mule. They make a strong mule I tell ya! Located inside a hotel, Five is a restaurant that has a bar area, across from the lobby. Nice black and white decor with beautiful chandeliers. Come here for a drink, unwind, and ...

    O Chame

    1 review

O Chame has held it's spot in the changing scene of Fourth Street dining for more than 18 years. It's a great place to enjoy a peaceful meal of satisfying Japanese/Berkeley fusion food. A friend and I often meet there for lunch. It's quiet enough for relaxed conversation. This last visit we started off with a rich herbaceous green tea. ...

    Cafe Fanny

Delicious pastries and sandwiches. Not priced cheaply, but a good treat. Be prepared to take your goodies to go, or cross your fingers that it's warm outside on their teeny patio. There's also a bar you can stand at and eat, but that seems a little awkward.
