They've been around since the early 1900's and the place is always packed so they must be doing something right! Delicious breakfast/brunch options available until 3PM. With garlic packed potatoes! Yummm!

Really cool and unique experience! It's a culinary school but when they have classes in session they do a several course service for both lunch and dinner! It was fantastic! All of the people in the service are students! Portland is known for its culinary schools so this is definately a special local experience. Something really unique to try! But ...

There is so much good food in Portland it is almost impossible to compare on with the other. As far as Indian Buffets go this was one of my favorites. Very flavorful, good variety and I left feeling less painfully full than some of the other places.

Southland Whiskey Kitchen serves bourbon in all different ways and varieties. The decor is rustic and down-home while the food is comfort and Southern. I recommend the mac n'cheese and the old fashion.

Famous for desserts. With that many to choose from, you could see why. Huge list of options, ranging all across the board. Some are very good, some will impress you more with their looks than with their flavors.

It's a long walk to the Pearl, if you're going to Bock and Roll! And for lunch yesterday, that cardio-friendly traverse started at Bunk Sandwiches (closed), continued across the Morrison Street Bridge and finished up with one of the finest creamy milkshake-quality stouts I had tasted in a long time. It was also a glorious warm and sunny day to ...

    Paley's Place

    0.34 mi from Besaw's
    4 reviews

Outstanding restaurant in NW Portland, a charming converted house with several cozy rooms. Pacific Northwest regional cuisine crafted by chef Vitaly Paley is inventive without getting too far out there for my taste. Best dish on the menu, judging by name alone: "Humptulips River Coho." (Yes, there is a real place in Washington called Humptulips.)
