Like every Best Western I've been too, there's nothing terribly special about this hotel--it's budget friendly and equipped with the basics: free internet access in guest rooms, a complimentary newspaper on weekdays, an in-room safe big enough to store your laptop. There's a restaurant on site with an interesting Asian-fusion menu where you can also get the "new" breakfast sandwiches featured on the marquee outside.
This hotel is really close to the Museum Campus and Soldier Field, so it would be a good place to stay if you're a Bears fan or a history buff. It's a little bit of a hike to some of the more popular tourist destinations on North Michigan Avenue, though, so keep that in mind as you're planning your trip.

The best part about this hotel is that it's located right across the street from Agora, the group of 106 armless and headless iron sculptures at the south end of Grant Park. I've always thought these sculptures were so interesting to look at and it's fun to wander between the sea of legs on a nice day. It's also right near Museum Campus so you can reach the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum and the Adler Planetarium very quickly from this hotel.
Unfortunately from the outside, the Best Western Grant Park Hotel looks like an old row house with concrete siding and desolate looking windows. Luckily, the restaurant in the bottom of the building and the surrounding skyscrapers keep it from looking too outdated.

This hotel can brag about being the closest hotel to Museum Campus, second closest to McCormick Place, and across the street from Grant Park. This is a great hotel for people who like to walk and look. That’s not to say that it’s far from things. It’s not. You’re, at most, three blocks from any kind of food you could want. I recommend Yolk for brunch. It’s right around the corner, and it will destroy you with good food. But you can do a lot of great walking and looking. You could spend two days at museum campus alone, and then you can walk across the street to Grant Park. If you come at the right time of year – the summer – This becomes home to many cool free activities. Inside the hotel is good too.
