    Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills

    90 reviews

It's a street. But the cars parked on the streets cost more than most people's houses. And you pretty much only see tourists watching other tourists. But if you want to shop, go for it; it's mostly upscale shops though. Parking is a pain to find on a busy day. But Hey! it's Beverly Hills! So roll like a celebrity!

Tree People Center for Community Forrestry

    5 reviews

The hike around Tree People (love the name!) is accessible either by parking near Coldwater Canyon Park or at the bottom near Fryman, a more residential area. It is a fairly easy hike, minus the steep grade at the beginning, and you can enjoy some beautiful views of the city from the top. A LOTof people take their dogs here. ...

    Saban Theatre

    5 reviews

I was recently here for the PaleyFest panel for Once Upon a Time. The venue is amazing in that Art Deco meets Old Hollywood style. The sound and acoustics are quite good. There were times when I could hear a slight echo. Parking can be found for $10 in the next building over on Wilshire and La Cienega. There's free ...

    P.U.M.P. Lounge

    3 reviews

I wanted to hate this place because of its reality TV star connection but this "gay garden" is a nice spot (reminiscent of The Abbey) even if it still has a few rough spots to work through. Service was mixed but this spot has great atmosphere (when the lights are down) and is one of the better places in this ...

    Beverly Gardens Park

    2 reviews

This was a very famous park in the 60's and 70's. It was "the place" all the stars took their children to. They had a petting zoo and pony rides. I saw my first movie star, Mickey Rooney, while we were having my younger brothers' 7th birthday party there. I thought he looked and sounded familiar but didn't recognize him ...

    The Witch's House

    1 review

#BeOut If you’re looking for a quick drive-by of whimsy, try checking out some of the Storybook architecture around town. For instance, in Beverly Hills sits an LA landmark called “The Witch’s House,” and at 3819 Dunn Drive in Culver City you can find a group of houses LA locals have come to call the “Hobbit Houses.” Keep in mind ...

    Roxbury Park Community Center

    1 review

#BeOut Grab a friend and head to Roxbury Park for an afternoon game of croquet. Be sure to call (310) 550-4761 to ensure the green and equipment are available. While the French may have a laissez-faire attitude towards life, in LA it's more like laissez-FML for those who don't plan ahead.
