You will love this ski resort. Almost no lift lines. Lots of all levels of runs. Try Mr. K first, a long green run anyone can enjoy. On the slope say hello to Bernie at MR Hummers.

With a unified ticket combining access to three resorts which are fully interconnected; Big Sky, Moonlight Basin, and Spirit Mountain (formerly The Club at Spanish Peaks) Big Sky Resort is now truly, The Biggest Skiing in America! Big Sky now has THE most skiable acreage in the US. Interesting note: while Big Sky and Moonlight have massive double black diamond runs and a healthy percentage of Blues, Spirit Mountain is mostly beginner and intermediate so there is a massive amount of terrain for EVERY level of ability!

Amazing place for an expert skier. Tram lines can be pretty long, except around lunch time or in bad weather, but the terrain is worth the wait. Also trails off Challenger lift are almost as good as those from the summit, and have no lines at all.

Big Sky Resort has world class skiing without long lift lines. Montana is considered the Last Best Place and Big Sky is a big reason why!

My husband and I have skied much of the US and Canada and we decided 10 years ago with the crowds at the Colorado and other resorts to make Big Sky resort our ski destination. Beautiful skiing, almost no lift lines and uncrowded slopes plus the tram make it our top ski destination.

Definitely one of the more beautiful places I have skied. It is huge ranging all around Lone Peak-- you need a few days to fully explore. Good runs for all levels and easy to get around making it family friendly. This is probably the most touristed place in the area so lots of ammenities for out of staters. More high end/pricey as well. Tons of fun!
