What a unique, fun spot! I ended up coming here twice last week. Once you step inside, you'll feel like you entered someone's warm, comfortable cabin in the woods... with a party and strong drinks, of course. You can't help but be happy in the woodsey atmosphere.
Drinks are strong, expensive, and delicious. Get the Toasted Marshmallow for something different, or even if you just like seeing a bartender light things on fire. The Manhattan was strong and one of the best I've tried. We also tried a Tattoo Tea (mellow and smooth, for those who don't like strong-tasting drinks) and a Maple Bacon Old Fashioned, which was unlike any other drink I've ever tried. The fantastic drinks are reason to come here alone.
Live music some nights. And the Saturday night DJ was amazing.... we were Shazaam-ing every few minutes. Very cool, unique mix.
They don't serve food, and parking is easy to find on the street.

**IDEAL FOR HAPPY HOUR AND HIPSTERS**
I was digging the vibe.
Rustic wood ambiance.
Feel free to order empanadas next door.
Plaid shirts and beards everywhere (yes, including the women).
Killer $5 Happy Hour (until 9PM) menu:
*OLD FASHIONED - My drink of choice and it was nice and strong. Especially for $5.
*MANHATTAN - My second drink of choice. It was solid.
OTHER DRINKS NOT ON THE HH MENU:
*GIRL SCOUT COOKIE - Yeah it was good, but too sweet for me.
*TOASTED MARSHMALLOW - More show than anything. It was just a toasted marshmallow on top of a Baileys on the rocks.
It was a bit of a drive from Santa Monica to get here on a week night, but definitely worth it.
Meet your friends and get on the HH bandwagon.

It's your usual gathering of hipsters... now on the Westside (so maybe the hipsters who can't get their act together enough to be on the Eastside). But really, there is nothing amazing about BFW. Nice atmosphere, slightly overpriced drinks.
