      agriculture. Plenty of great wildlife to experience - though most of the roos we saw on our visit were sadly dead by the roadside. If you're looking for a relatively unspoiled, but comfortable side of rural Australia to explore and enjoy wildlife, this is a great place to spend a night or two. There's a good range of places to stay: from the very high-end Southern Ocean Lodge to some really smart standalone, self-catering properties for slightly longer stays. The island is accessible by flying from Adelaide or a 45-minute ferry ride from Cape Jervis (in turn around a two-hour drive from Adelaide).
