Bistro Vida is a cute little French joint in downtown Menlo Park. I love the restaurant design and decor here. And of course, the food is great too! I come here for the burger and fries (crispy)! The salmon sandwich is also VERY good--salmon is not dry as it often turns out at other restaurants.

Got the Croque Monsieur. It was just okay, nothing memorable about. Same thing can be said for their bread and fries. I like the French bistro decor.

Good food, great decor. I wouldn't say this is one of my favorite meals in the area, but it was pretty good. Food quality is high and the service is good as well. I find the menu a little limited, especially if you're in the mood for something lighter, but still a solid choice. My friend had the burger and she said it was very good.

Decent place, but I've only been here once so here it goes. The onion soup was pretty good. Better than Left Bank's next door. The beef bourguignon was horrible. How do you dry out short rib, which is a fatty cut? The Le Steak sandwich was the saving grace. Pretty good and something I would order again.

The Pene alla Puttanesca feels almost italian. The pasta itself was cooked to a perfect al dante level.
Next time I'll try a dish with a french name though as it is a french bistro after all. I'll be back to update the review then

Good food, nice staff, the wait time for food is ridiculously long.
