Today's Bloomingdales is not quite as it used to be. Although still a wonderful, generally upscale, place to shop, it is not as special as it once was, now that it is owned by Macy's & has branches throughout the country & even in Dubai. Walk through the main floor cosmetic area & prepare to be sprayed by perfume/cosmetic employees. The store is always packed with locals & tourists. Be sure to keep track of your belongings.

Much more relaxed than the stuffier midtown mother ship. Staff are friendly. Clothing skews a bit younger / more contemporary. A pleasant shopping experience in a much more manageable small store format.

I suppose I should love this Bloomingdale's location for being historic and vintage, but it just felt old. It's still worth a trip inside, as the merchandise is all very up-to-date.

'Bloomies' is my favorite department store by far. It really is a fun shopping experience even for someone like me who doesn't like to shop all that much,

Renowned for it's high fashion for men and women, Bloomingdales has been at this location on 59th Street and Lexington since 1886. It is currently owned by it's former rival, Macys.

Absolutely lucky to be so close to the flagship store on 3rd ave and 59th st. Best place for clothes, accessories, and Froyo (as pictured).

If you ever visit you must go to the 7th floor and try their original and flavor of the day.

I used to live down the street from this 60th and 3rd Bloomies and would shop here about twice a month.

This is one of my favorite department stores where you can score this season's greatest finds. If you are from out of town, make sure you visit the visitor counter so you can get 10-15% off. I have a Bloomies credit card (probably not the best idea); however, I do get a lot of gift certificates and discounts in the mail. For my birthday this year, I got a $100 gc which was a nice surprise.

One of the best places in New York for shopping. All the famous brands are here. Bloomingdales is also located in one of the best corners of New York which makes an easy walk anytime.

I found the shop too full of concessions and full of the same stuff that I could buy at home.
