I love the Delano. So, I was hoping to love the Blue Door inside the Delano. The decor of the restaurant is very nice. As much as I'd love to love the food, it wasn't all there for me. For the price they charge, their food should taste a lot better and more unique. Their creme brulee is the worst I've had. I came here with six colleagues and they all agree.

Worth the splurge! Beautiful hotel, beautiful restaurant, excellent service, and amazing entrees. Walked into the hotel and greeted by white tall columns stretching from ceiling to floor. Sheer white drapes flow with the breeze. The restaurant decor is of white and dark wood. We had a group party and had a reserved table in the corner next to the window. Our entrees were of fresh seafood such as ahi, lobster, and steak. We had to top it off with desserts! It was all delicious. My compliments to the chef and staff for providing such a wonderful meal and memory for our group.

First time in Miami back in the year 2000, we went to have our best meal at the Blue Door located inside the Delano Hotel. It was party owned at the time by Madonna. The decor inside takes your breath way and you feel like you're in a romantic resort filled with satin curtains blowing in the wind.

The Blue door is no longer there... since Jan 2012 it reopened as an italian eatery Bianca. The decor is beautiful, just what you expect from Delano. the food, however, average at best. Limited menu, no particular outstanding dish or flavors. the Wine list is good though. Still recommend it for the scenary and ambiance (sit outdoors), but do not expect much from the food.
