This was one of my last stops here on my DC Trip and by far was one of the more satisfying dining experiences. We had a reservation at 11 am but overslept and had to set a very late brunch/lunch at 1:45.
Located in the heart of Georgetown, what a great place to open up an upscale restaurant. I ordered steak and eggs and straight out of the oven chocolate cake. Both were extremely tasty. The only negative was the steak was cooked a little too well done to my liking (asked for medium) and the cake had too much whiskey.
Overall, great environment and ambiance into this place. The staff is extremely friendly although they did not know they were featured on the Food Channel! You get a clear view of the layout of the kitchen (it's gorgeous) and if you are looking for a fine dining experience, look no further.Recommended for:

This is a pretty good brunch place. Although you'll hear great reviews about it, I wasn't too impressed. I left there $60 poorer and still hungry. The inside has a pretty cool atmosphere. I guess my tastes aren't refined enough to appreciate the expensive food.

This homey West End restaurant’s signature BDT Triple Fries are the anti-shoestrings—a potato-lover’s French fries. The thick, hand-cut wedges are cooked three times: first in water, then in oil, then on to duck fat for a hearty finish. The results are uniformly crisp on the outside, but thick underneath, with an ample amount of potato in every bite. Order them with a juicy blue cheese burger.

We had a late dinner at Blue Duck Tavern. My oven roast Wagu beef was cooked beautifully medium rare and served with wine braised shallots but I could not manage to eat it all. Our side of duck fat fried fries were to die for but again were more than I could finish.
The décor is very modern with big windows and an open kitchen. There seemed to be a lot of business men at the tables. Prices were reasonable.
