For both the city lover and the outdoor enthusiast. Boise has a university, a river, rock climbing, great food, markets, sports teams, hiking and biking trails, a ski mountain, a vibrant art scene and so much more. Boise is a family-friendly town that has something for everyone.Recommended for:

During the summer Boise weather is fantastic. They have great restaurants, and many family oriented activities. The downtown night life is great. Some of the summer activities include Beer Fest, Music Fest, Floating the Boise river from Barber Park to Downtown.

An up and coming town...er...city that has a lot to offer. It's right near Oregon and is a nice stop if you're driving through to the coast. I really didn't think there would be much there, but I was pleasantly surprised by how many restaurants and bars there were to choose from.

Boise is an alright city. I've only been there during the summer though for a day or two max. It seems alright, reminds me a lot of a city in middle America. I don't think a lot of people would enjoy it here during the winter though.
