Beautiful and comfortable cabins. It is a great place to stay for a romantic get away or if you are traveling with a group. The cabins very in size, and often have their own kitchen so you can cook if you like. La Vispera has a very nice herb garden that the hotel cafe uses extensively in their food. It ...

Very nice hotel. While it is rated a 5 star it is really more of a 4 star hotel. Nevertheless the rooms are very nice, and the service is excellent. The location is outside of the city center so it is nice and quiet.

This place is 100% community run which means you are going to have to be patient determining who has the keys and etc. However it is super cheap and a rather nice place to rest your head. They have wonderful pictures posted on the walls of the surrounding sites, a hammock you can string up, and a grassy area with ...

Was very popular with Peace Corps volunteers, before the Peace Corps left Bolivia. Nice location between La Recoleta Area, the Stadium, and Las Islas. It is cheap, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. They have a nice outdoor patio in the back that is good for drinking beers with other visitors.

Excellent 4 star hotel. Great location right near MonseƱor Rivero. Lots of good restaurants nearby, walking distance from the plaza (15-20 minutes), and access to public transportation, and easily accessible from the airport. After the Tajibos and Camino Real it is my top hotel.

Beautiful location on the road from Santa Cruz to Samaipata. It is on a large hill that is well forested. It feels isolated without actually being that far from the city. It is a great location to do a weekend of relaxation. It is also a great place to hold an event (family reunion, wedding). The staff is very friendly, ...

one of the best choices not just because the rooms are so legit especially for people traveling with more than 2 ppl in the group (huge apartment style rooms with common areas). There is wifi everywhere in the building and the restaurant in it, La Tranquera, is the best steakhouse in La Paz. I guess you never have to leave. ...

A hostal is only as good as what one needs at the moment, and what you need in Potosi is a hot shower. As one of the highest big cities in the world, Potosi is COLD and Hostal Koala Den has amazingly hot showers to warm you up, not to mention incredibly comfortable beds with thick warm blankets. One of 2 5-star hotels in Santa Cruz that actually deserve the 5-star rating (the other being Los Tajibos). Camino Real is a very nice hotel located near the trendy Equipetrol district. The Radisson La Paz is a decent hotel for business travelers. The rooms are well accommodated, the breakfast buffet is sufficient, and the wireless internet is fast and relatively strong throughout the hotel. These are all of the things a business traveler should need. I didn't visit the pool or the workout area but these are also available. The hotel ...
