The food is great, and the prices are very reasonable considering how much you get. You can choose from either a meat orgy with one of the parilladas or go with any of the many delicious camba criollo food on the menu. For the tourist wanting to try some traditional food this is a must visit. The ambiance is nice ...

    Lorca

The moment we enter Lorca, we are enveloped by the bold interiors. The first room we are in is painted in green, orange, and red, with a gold-rimmed chalkboard menu, contrasting paintings, vintage hookahs on the bar, and some tables and chairs. Rounding the corner is the outdoor patio area, speckled with red chairs. The black, white, and red decor ...

bolivian meat is definitely a little more tough than the US kind. mostly because they're grass fed and organic. this steak house is one of the most pimp out of all the other steak houses, though i still love the brazilian brasargent and la buena mesa. the higher price gets you at a hotter spot and better service.

    Casa de Campo

Very good Bolivian food. It is a bit more expensive by Bolivian standards, which means it is still pretty reasonable for most tourists. Large portions, and nice ambiance. If you are really hungry I suggest trying planchitas, which is a massive dish with all types of traditional meats, good for two or three people.

Good German restaurant, that is a bit of a hike from the town center. I would recommend taking a taxi specially if you are going in the evening as the road isn't well illuminated and doesn't have a sidewalk and can be dangerous for pedestrians.

Cafe a block of the plaza. It is on the second floor of a small shopping center. The location is nice, and is usually pretty cool, which is nice when it is sweltering outside. The food is alright. I think of it as more of a lunch or snack option than for dinner.

This restaurant is an example of one of those random happening that can make traveling so rewarding. You would never expect to find an excellent Italian restaurant in this small sleepy town, but thanks to Doña Rosita a second generation Italian you can get wonderful pizzas, and amazing hand made Italian pasta dishes. She also makes excellent criollo food with ...
