Ever since hearing about GMOs and other not-so-nice things that are done to our food, I've sought out organic ingredients whenever possible. That makes it a bit tricky sometimes when dining out so when you find a spot like Bolsa, you feel like you've hit the jackpot. Their dishes are organic and primarily from local farms and the way in which each dish is prepared is so simple yet incredibly flavorful. Chef Andrew clearly knows a thing or two about how to create good food. And the cocktails are equally as good using high-quality mixers and artisanal liquors. For those who want their weekend boozy brunch, you can get bottomless mimosas for only $12!

Bolsa was really the first restaurant that brought the farm-to-table food trend to Dallas and made it popular. They serve a different menu daily. Jeff Harris (formerly of Craft W) is committed to keeping Dallas on it’s toes by creating a menu that is fresh, organic, creative and amazing. Bolsa is located in an old garage that was refurbished using existing materials. The price points are low to mid and you can show up dressed up on a date or dressed down with friends; either way it’s a special little gem in our city that we are all very proud of and has an incredible bar and patio as well.

Another great restaurant in the Bishop Arts area. Here you will find great, fresh and mainly local fare here. If the weather is nice you'll want to enjoy a seat on the patio. In keeping with the green theme, this building was recycled from a gas station into a hip restaurant.

great for lunch on the weekends. They source their food from local growers so everything is fresh and full of flavour. Service is ALWAYS slow, so dont go if you are in a rush, but once your food and drinks come its all worth the wait. Great bar scene for indoor and outdoor people watching
