Even though this hotel is a little bit far from the main must-sees, it is still a nice hotel regarding its quality over price ration. The bathrooms were very clean and appealing, and had beautiful rooms. It's on a noisy street but it didn't bother me, I love the city vibe and there were double windows to cut off the noise. The breakfast is pretty basic and it is nicely served on the roof's glass-house. I would recommend a closer hotel, but a near metro station is just at the end pf the road which was perfect..Recommended for:

Borromeo hotel is situated in a good and strategic point, perfectly in the centre of the capital. In fact you can reach Colosseo and fori imperiali in 5 minutes by foot. Recently renovated the hotel appers pleasant and clean, like the rooms where you can find all services you need. Breakfast is included and well-stocked. There's no restaurant, but staying in the centre of Rome is not so difficult to find them. Streets are full of restaurants. Also wifi connection is included. Definitively it's a good value for your money. Moreover the staff is really welcoming and available to explain you how move through the city with the suggestion of the main monuments that you don't have to miss. And a bright spot to say about this hotel is that you can bring your dog with you because they accept them with no problem.Recommended for:

This 3-star hotel is very interesting because of a good value for money and a central position. Ten minutes walk to reach both Termini station and via Del Corso. Moreover it was recently renovated and it’s visible. The style is elegant but not overly, refined and simple at the same time. The breakfast area is on the roof garden with a nice view but not so panoramic. It’s always nice have breakfast outdoors when the weather is good. There is the wifi access in the hotel but it’s free just if you make a reservation directly from the hotel website. There is rooms of different dimension even family suite, all spacious and clean. This hotel is advisable for all kind of travelers and I suggest it further to people who like shopping, because of many shops in via Cavour.Recommended for:

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed when I walked in and the guy at reception carried on his telephone conversation with his “amore” about what he was going to have for lunch for some time before acknowledging my presence. The lobby is being remodeled at the moment leaving very little space for the bar on the ground floor...good thing breakfast is served on its terrace though sadly it’s not one of the tallest buildings on the street, so you don’t get the spectacular views you’d expect from a Roman terrace but it’s always nice to eat “al fresco”. Its location makes up for what this hotel is lacking because you can reach many cool bars, restaurants and some of Rome’s best sights in just a few minutes on foot. In my opinion, if you can get a good deal, the location itself is worth it. Otherwise, I’d say there are probably better options in the same area.

The hotel seems a bit rundown, but the staff were very helpful and the location of the hotel is quite good. It's only a few blocks from Termini station as well as the Cavour Metro stop. The neighborhood is nice, too, and some of the best sights in Rome are nearby. The hotel offers a decent discount for those that pre-book nonrefundable stays so if you are looking to save some money on your trip to Rome, this is a good option. Breakfast and wifi are included in the price of the hotel, so that's another plus. Overall, I think that you can do better with some of the other hotels along the same street or nearby.

Central location, 5 min. walk from Termini Station and the Colosseum, 20 min. from Piazza Barberini, but if you don't feel like walking metro stop is just 200 metres away from the hotel.
