    Hostelling International - Boston

    Hostelling International - Boston

    Hotel Class:
    4
    3 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

I couldn’t believe this place was a hostel. Well, besides the young crowd, hip environment, and encouragement of traveling culture, yes I could. But Hostelling International’s newest location in Boston is truly a sight to see. It’s hip, it’s urban, and most importantly, it’s cheap for youthful travelers. Not only is breakfast free, but also so are their provided activities ...

Very Good! - 81% of guests recommend

Juxtaposed with the historical appearance of the building, Hotel 140 offers a modern, luxurious, and cozy atmosphere within the confines of their walls. Hailed as one of the most affordable hotels in Back Bay, Hotel 140 far exceeded my expectations of just being a “cheap” hotel. Each room is furnished with a bed, television, and refrigerator, essentially the basics of ...

Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

Established in a relatively new building and after undergoing a very recent renovation, the Courtyard South Boston is an unexpectedly stylish and modern hotel situated right next to a series of shopping plazas and supermarkets. Greeted by abstract, modern-looking pillars, the entrance/lobby boasts a café and business center available for guests to use. The rooms are clean, crisp, and comfortable. ...

This isn't the greatest airport but it serves its purpose. I've always felt like the crowds here are a little more hectic than most airports (though not as bad as Chicago's O'Hare). If you're trying to get to downtown Boston once you land, the shuttle bus to the T is quick and painless. And, of course, I always make sure ...

    Hotel Class:

Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

At my first glance of the Chandler Inn, I suspected there was something strange between its appearance and location. Tucked away in the quieter South End, the building could pass as an old apartment complex in the middle of the nit and grit of Boston. To further add to its eccentricity, I was bombarded with a colorful interior and geometric ...

This great hostel located in the Back Bay area near Fenway Park was my first ever experience in a hostel. My visit came at the start of a monthlong backpacking trip down the East Coast. I had a great first experience. The rooms were clean and not crowded. The staff were friendly and breakfast items were served every morning. Unlike ...

It just doesn't get more historic than this. The Omni Parker House (originally called Parker's) pioneered the idea of the luxury hotel and restaurant in an era when sleeping on the road often meant sharing a bed with a stranger at a tavern. Try the Boston Creme Pie; it was invented here. Walk right out the door into historic downtown ...

Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

While the Charlesmark is in a prime location in the heart of Back Bay shopping and restaurants, the rest of its amenities leave a little bit to be desired. The guest rooms are really tiny, as are the hallways and lobby area. I also thought the lounge area downstairs was a little cramped, especially when the bar opens at night. ...

Stayed here for few days for work. I was a little worried about this place because the place looked so outdated. Overall it was a decent hotel. No bed bugs, clean room, good customer service. The location is in South end and it's 5minutes walk to the mall/hynnes convention center. It's also walking distance to some tastey restaurants and cafes.

“Is this a hostel?” “No it’s a bed and breakfast”, replied Jose, the friendly staff member on site. Quickly I learned that 82 Chandler St. doesn’t have to be on a farm or in the middle-of-nowhere to qualify as a bed and breakfast. Instead, 82 Chandler is in the middle of the South End, a wonderful neighborhood that is a ...

In a brief visit to the XV Boston, I was really impressed by the style, understated elegance, and friendliness of this little boutique hotel. I've spent most of my time in Europe over the last few years and so have had limited contact with American hotels, but this one made me proud to be a Yank.

The Boston Harbor Hotel exudes a classic New England/Bostonian charm that you just can't get anywhere else. I loved the nautical theme to the place and the views are some of the best in the city. The Copley Square hotel is one of those rare finds. Friendly, luxurious, less than super expensive.
